Who cannot apply?

  • If you’re studying full-time, you can’t apply.
  • If you receive a government grant for yourself (like the SASSA SRD R350), you don’t qualify.
  • Schools shouldn’t reappoint youth from Phase I, II, III or IV – this could cause legal issues for the Department and province.
  • Make sure your documents are complete! If anything is missing, your application won’t be considered.
